Description

Get your 2017 Pierce County list started early. Join Ed Pullen for Puyallup Valley half day easy birding trip.

We will meet at Bradley Lake at 8 AM, and bird there, as well as a few other local spots in Puyallup and likely Orting. Expect waterfowl, some raptors, and a variety of the wintering passerines. If the Trumpeter swans return this winter we should see those also. Dress for the weather, wear shoes to keep feet dry in wet grass or slightly muddy areas, no muck boots needed. Bring binoculars and a drink or snack if you want one.

We will be done about noon. Will car pool from Bradley Lake. This will be a trip with plenty of parking at all stops, so we will not need to limit trip size. Should be family friendly, but no pets please. Walks will be on pretty even terrain, longest likely the mile loop at Bradley Lake if we do that. Weather and birds seen in the few days prior may modify route used.

Please register for the trip here and also contact Ed Pullen at edwardpullen@gmail.com to be sure he knows to expect you.
