Birding with the DuPont Dudes Field Trip

Find out how the new Birding by Sound techniques are used in the field by joining Nathanael Swecker as he finds and records bird songs in Dupont WA. Expect to find and hear spring warblers with real-time, in the field, audio spectrograms. Are you ready for the next generation birding experience?

We’ll meet at a central location (TBD), and then the majority of the day will be spent walking trails with one excursion to drive Mounts Road.

We will take advantage of spring migration, covering a broad range of habitats, including marshes, fields, woodlands and the Sound.

We will be out all morning so don't forget to bring a lunch, water and snacks!

Registration for this trip closes April 27 at 12 pm.

Limit: None!

Trip Leader: Nathaneal Swecker
