Join Ed Pullen for a day of birding within city limits. We will see how many species we can find birding only within Tacoma City Limits. We will meet at the Narrows Park and Ride on 6th Avenue & Skyline at a.m. and start our day of birding with the dawn chorus at Titlow Park. We will see how efficient we can be with driving, trying to bird in a continuous path rather than too much back and forth driving. It should make for more time birding and less time driving, and may show some birders local areas you may not be familiar with. Possible stops include Point Defiance, Ruston Way, Puget Park, various tide flats, Gog-li-hi-ti, Brown’s Point, Dash Point Park, Snake Lake and China Lake Parks, and Upper Swan Creek Park. Bring food and drink for the day dress for the weather. Walking will be on easy terrain, and expect several less than a mile walks during the day. We should finish around Dress for the weather, only really bad weather will force postponement.
