Description

Kirk Kirkland will provide a pictoral tour of a dozen birding areas that were protected throughout the county during the 50 years of this chapter. Tahoma Audubon advocates of biodiversity and wildlife habitat preservation have provided leadership in bringing organizations together to improve wild life habitat and write legislation to protect working farms and forests. Learn how this was done, the agenda for continuing this work for another 25 years and the role you might play!

Free and open to the public. Programs are held in the auditorium of the Tacoma Nature Center, 1919 S. Tyler St. Doors open at 6:30 pm for socializing and refreshments; programs are 7:00-8:00 pm.
