This "Special Walk" is part of Creek and lake restoration effort. This birding walk is designed for Lakewood residents who are interested in learning about the types of birds in neighborhood adjacent to Steilacoom Lake and Chambers Creek. This outing is part of restoration effort to improve the water quality and increase salmon, birds and wildlife to frequent suburban neighborhoods. At walk and at the community workshop on March 23, you can learn how to change plantings in your backyard to attract birds.
